Quick turnaround for the Greyhound

Quick turnaround for the Greyhound

22nd Mar 2017

Your first pub is special. The new owners of the Greyhound Pub in Botcheston, Leics knew they had to get it right first time, but they were in a hurry to open to take advantage of the lucrative Christmas trade.

They contacted Full Steam Pictures with a clear and concise brief - "Great images quick!"

Our photographer arrived at the venue on a clear and crisp morning and was immediately greeted by Simon, the owner of Posh Nosh Food co. After a brief orientation the work began in earnest.

After sampling some of the wonderful dishes on the menu, the piece de la resistance was brought out, the Botcheston Pudding, the culinary creation specific to this pub, and what a delight it was. The photographer later claimed it was hard to choose between the Botcheston Pudding and the bread & butter pudding he also sampled. They are all that good!

The Botcheston Pudding

After sampling the fresh and tasty food it was onto the staff. The chef was in the kitchen working his magic whilst the bar staff and servers were busying themselves in the restaurant. They were all captured as naturally as possible to reflect the daily workings of such a fine establishment.

From the outset Full Steam knew what was at stake for the first pub in the Posh Nosh Food group. The owner was delighted with our work as you can read his testimonial here. The images were needed quickly for a print deadline so we turned them around in less than 24 hours; all part of the service.

For those of you in the area we would thoroughly recommend paying this little gem of a pub a visit - the website is here. Our photographer recommends the spatchcock chicken followed by the bread & butter pudding. Posh Nosh, indeed!
