Alton Towers got in touch and asked if we would like to do a cookbook - could we shoot 50 dishes in 2 days - and for charity? Triple yes.
We were paired with the fantastic sytlist Sue Townsend, who brought experience and a huge bag of tools and tricks to the shoot. The pressure was on, but we were ably assisted by Tehsin, Aaron and Tom - overseen by head chef, Dan. Shooting in their vast conference suite was a nice change as we had space to spread out and create a production line that would be crucial to achieving the tight deadline.
There were a few on the fly changes of dishes as some of them didn't work, no matter how hard we tried. But that is a food shoot, adapt and overcome.
